Your tasks
- You are responsible for the professional guidance and development of employees in the Maintenance department
- You ensure the technical availability of equipment and meet defined OEE targets
- You prioritize, coordinate, and escalate technical malfunctions and develop sustainable corrective actions
- You ensure that maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance measures are carried out
- You further develop predictive maintenance concepts and technical standards
- You analyze weaknesses, causes of malfunctions, and failure patterns, and derive sustainable improvement measures
- You manage and coordinate external service providers and service technicians
- You assist with the implementation of new equipment, systems, and technologies
- You ensure a structured spare parts strategy and effective escalation management
- You work closely with related departments such as Operations, the central control room, and IT
- You assist with budget planning, investment decisions, and technical projects
- You are responsible for ensuring knowledge transfer and building technical expertise within the team
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience (ideally 3–5 years) in maintenance, automation technology, or technical logistics
- Experience in a technical leadership or coordination role
- Experience operating automated material handling and warehouse systems
- Completed technical training with further education leading to a technician or master craftsman certification, or a comparable qualification
- In-depth technical understanding of material flow, conveyor technology, and automation systems
- Very good knowledge of maintenance processes and predictive maintenance methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in critical operational situations
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills
- High level of personal responsibility and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to support operations in a 3-shift environment
- Focus on continuous improvement and understanding of Lean and CIP principles
