Transportation Specialist (m/f/d)

The position is a two-year fixed-term contract.

Planning and coordinating UIL shipments (inbound and outbound) for all modes of transport
Analyzing and optimizing transport flows using transport KPIs, as well as identifying and implementing optimization measures
Conducting tenders, negotiations, and finalizing framework agreements and pricing agreements with freight forwarders and CEP service providers in Germany and abroad
Point of contact for all transport logistics matters, both internally and externally
Management of goods receipts and shipments in close cooperation with operational departments
Invoice verification in the transport sector
Participation in projects related to transport logistics

Bachelor’s degree in transportation and logistics or a vocational degree in freight forwarding and logistics services with professional experience
In-depth knowledge and experience in transport KPIs, transport logistics, transport law, and tender and negotiation processes
Expertise in route and network planning, and ideally knowledge of transport process automation
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as basic knowledge of SAP
Ability to coordinate across departments and work independently
Good English and very good German language skills
