Your tasks

  •  You ensure that all processes in order picking and dispatch run smoothly, safely and on schedule, and guarantee a high standard of delivery
  • You lead, motivate and develop shift supervisors and operational staff, and foster a performance-oriented and customer-focused team culture
  • You will manage your area of responsibility using relevant key performance indicators such as productivity, quality, on-time delivery and lead times, and implement appropriate measures to achieve targets
  • You will plan and coordinate the efficient deployment of staff, space and resources to ensure optimal utilisation and process stability
  • You ensure the timely fulfilment, picking and loading of customer orders and monitor compliance with defined service and quality standards
  • You implement strategic guidelines, projects and improvement initiatives into day-to-day operations and act as the link between management and operational teams
  • You will identify opportunities for optimisation throughout the picking and dispatch processes and drive forward continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction
  • You will work closely with the Goods-in, Warehouse, Transport Planning, Cutting Department, Control Centre and Customer Service teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and goods right through to the customer
 

Your profile

  • Several years’ experience in logistics (5 years, including 3 years in a managerial role), with a focus on order picking, dispatch or distribution
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to develop and motivate teams in a goal-oriented manner
  • Experience in managing operational processes using key performance indicators, as well as a good understanding of productivity, quality and on-time delivery
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and standard Microsoft Office applications, as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
  • A strong sense of responsibility, assertiveness and a distinctly hands-on approach in a dynamic logistics environment
  • Proactive communication skills, as well as the active promotion of an open culture of feedback and learning in line with the ONE LAPP philosophy and sustainable team development
