Your tasks
- Define and execute the global OT strategy and roadmap, aligned with LAPP’s Global IT strategy and manufacturing priorities
- Lead and develop a global but virtual OT expert team, providing functional and disciplinary leadership across regions and sites
- Establish global OT standards and govern OT Security architecture, including asset inventory, network segmentation, secure remote access concepts, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Drive OT security and resilience initiatives, ensuring availability‑first security concepts and alignment with recognized OT security principles
- Ensure transparency of OT assets and risks, including legacy and end‑of‑life systems, and define remediation and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate OT critical incident and problem management, especially for production‑critical events, ensuring fast resolution and prevention of recurrence
- Establish and maintain an OT incident response process, including regular tabletop exercises to verify preparedness and response effectiveness, execution done in conjunction with LAPP businesses
- Enable controlled IT/OT convergence, working closely with IT Security, Architecture, MES, and Plant Engineering teams
Act as the central interface between Global IT and production sites, aligning OT requirements with business, engineering, and maintenance stakeholders - Manage OT vendors, partners, and service providers, including budget responsibility and performance control
- Support global rollout initiatives, assessments, and continuous improvement programs related to OT, plant connectivity, and industrial digitalization
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in Operational Technology, Industrial IT, Automation, or Plant IT environments
- Proven experience in leading OT or industrial IT teams in a global or multi‑site manufacturing context
- Strong background in production‑critical environments, where availability, safety, and reliability are key priorities
- Experience in global OT and industrial IT environments within production‑critical settings, including: Hands‑on experience with OT security standards,OT security, network segmentation, asset management, and secure remote access in industrial environments and IT/OT convergence and cross‑functional collaboration
- Track record in working across cultures, regions, and time zones, collaborating with plants, central IT, and external partners
- Fluent in English
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to translate complex OT and security topics into clear business language
- Experience working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance organizations
- Structured, pragmatic, and risk‑aware mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
