Your tasks
- Reviewing and evaluating customer inquiries and developing technical solutions
- Compliance with and application of standards, company guidelines, and customer requirements
- Collaboration with internal interfaces and other locations within the Harnessing Solutions EMEA division
- Evaluating and processing internal and external changes to products and manufacturing processes
- Optimizing production processes based on customer requirements in collaboration with Operations
Your profile
- University degree (university/technical college) in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience in engineering for fiber optic assemblies and cable assemblies
- Experience in technical standards approval procedures for our products is an advantage
- In-depth process knowledge in the assembly of optical fibers
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations as well as measurement technology (especially OTDR)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and manufacturing documents
- Experience with lean management methods and Lapp Operation System
- German and English language skills (at least level B2)
