Shift leader Picking & Dispatch (m/f/d)

The advertised vacancy is for a post in LC6.

You will manage and coordinate day-to-day operations in order picking and dispatch during your shift and ensure that everything runs smoothly
You will provide technical guidance to the staff on your shift and support them in processing orders on time and to the required quality standards
You will monitor compliance with productivity, quality and deadline targets and ensure the optimal utilisation of available resources
You ensure that all order picking and dispatch processes are carried out in accordance with the specified standards, work instructions and safety regulations
You coordinate order picking, packing, loading and dispatch processing, and ensure the on-time delivery of customer orders
You identify operational disruptions and bottlenecks at an early stage, implement appropriate countermeasures and escalate relevant issues where necessary
You support the induction of new staff and promote the continuous development of your team
You work closely with related departments such as goods-in, the control centre, the cutting shop, the warehouse and transport planning to ensure an efficient flow of materials and goods

Several years’ experience in logistics (3 years, including 1 year in a managerial role), with a focus on order picking, dispatch or distribution
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to develop staff in a targeted manner, motivate them and inspire them to work towards shared goals
Experience in managing operational logistics processes using key performance indicators, as well as a good understanding of productivity, quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and standard Microsoft Office applications, as well as a structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work
A strong sense of responsibility, assertiveness and decisiveness, combined with a pronounced hands-on approach in a dynamic logistics environment
Proactive communication skills and a strong team-oriented approach, as well as the active promotion of an open culture of feedback and learning in line with the ONE LAPP philosophy and sustainable team development
