Your tasks
- Ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations at the Forbach plant while leading, coaching, and developing the local IT organization
- Acting as a trusted advisor to plant management, ensuring high service quality, supporting business continuity, and coordinating infrastructure, network, workplace, and application services in alignment with Global IT
- Translating local business requirements into global IT initiatives, driving the adoption of global standards and technologies, and supporting digitalization and Industry 4.0 programs
- Managing IT service providers and key stakeholders while supporting budget planning and cost transparency at site level
- Defining and continuously evolving the global Operational Technology (OT) strategy, governance framework, standards, and roadmap aligned with business and manufacturing objectives
- Driving harmonization of OT architectures, ensuring secure and compliant OT environments, and leading cybersecurity and risk management initiatives across production and logistics locations
- Advancing IT/OT integration through standardized connectivity, scalable manufacturing solutions, and the implementation of smart factory and Industry 4.0 capabilities
- Providing leadership for the global OT domain, fostering knowledge sharing and capability development, and supporting resource planning and talent development
- Acting as a key stakeholder in manufacturing transformation programs and supporting ERP, MES, automation, and digital manufacturing initiatives in close collaboration with production engineering, plant management, and Global IT leadership
- Combining strategic leadership with operational execution while promoting collaboration, trust, standardization, and continuous improvement across regions, functions, and cultures
Your profile
- Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or a related field
- Extensive professional experience in IT, Operational Technology (OT), manufacturing technology, or a comparable environment, including several years of leadership responsibility
- Proven track record in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial production environments as well as experience in international and matrix organizations
- Strong expertise in several of the following areas: Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Networks, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure & Cloud Services, IT Service Management, SAP-enabled manufacturing environments, Industrial Automation, IT/OT Integration, and Industry 4.0 technologies
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High customer and service orientation combined with a structured and solution-oriented working approach
- Ability to successfully lead teams and projects in complex international environments
- Strong decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to work closely with production and operational teams
