Your tasks

  • Functional and disciplinary leadership and development of the local IT team at the Forbach production site, ensuring reliable, secure and production-oriented IT operations.
  • Advising Plant Management as a strategic IT partner, translating local business requirements into IT initiatives and supporting digitalization and Industry 4.0 topics.
  • Ensuring the stability and availability of the local IT landscape for production and logistics, including escalation management and coordination of infrastructure, network, workplace and application topics with Global IT teams.
  • Development and continuous evolution of the global OT strategy and roadmap, as well as establishment of consistent governance structures, standards and architectures for production and logistics sites worldwide.
  • Strengthening the cybersecurity and resilience of OT environments through the implementation of appropriate security and risk management measures in close collaboration with Information Security.
  • Shaping and advancing IT/OT convergence and defining global standards for the secure integration and connectivity of production equipment, OT platforms and manufacturing systems as a foundation for Smart Factory and Industry 4.0.
  • Leadership and development of a global OT expert community, promoting international knowledge and best-practice sharing and contributing to global transformation programs related to ERP, MES, automation and digital manufacturing.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Automation Technology or a comparable field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT, Operational Technology (OT), manufacturing technology or a comparable industrial environment.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience with direct people management responsibility, combined with strong capabilities in leading, developing and coaching employees.
  • Extensive experience in production, logistics or industrial manufacturing environments, combined with a strong understanding of production-related processes and requirements.
  • Broad expertise across several relevant technology areas, particularly OT, industrial networks, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure & cloud, IT service management, industrial automation, IT/OT integration and Industry 4.0.
  • Experience working in international and matrix organizations, with the ability to collaborate successfully across regions, functions and cultures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business, production and IT.
  • Strategic yet execution-oriented mindset, combined with strong decision-making and prioritization skills and the ability to balance global standards with local business requirements.
  • High customer and service orientation, a structured and solution-oriented approach, and a strong hands-on mentality, combined with the willingness to work closely with production operations.
  • Strong English and French language skills; German language skills are an advantage.
