We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist Project Business EMEA to join our team, focusing on the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. This role will be pivotal in expanding our market presence in the industries Infrastructure and Industrial Automation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in driving business growth.

Your tasks

  • Relationship Building and Maintenance: Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and continuously maintain them.
  • Project Offering: Determine the best offering considering all aspects, including direct and indirect costs, profit margins, taxes, and payment terms, to ensure the offer is competitive, transparent, and profitable. Offering complementary products and/or services.
  • Sales and Opportunity Management: Ensure that the sales pipeline aligns with our sales goals.
  • Activity Planning and Execution: Independently execute planned sales activities and hold regular sales discussions in collaboration with the Business Development Manager EMEA and responsible Account Managers in the countries in EMEA.
  • Gaining and Applying Technical Knowledge: Expand and utilise technical expertise to effectively explain product features, address customer inquiries, and provide tailored solutions. Collaborate with internal teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure that all technical aspects of the role align with customer needs and organisational objectives.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new opportunities and positioning strategies.

Your profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development
  • A strong "Hunter" mentality and a drive for success
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and strong interpersonal instincts
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Solid understanding of the company’s products and services
  • Industry knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to establish initial contact, conduct persuasive sales discussions, and captivate potential customers
  • Consultative sales approach and an understanding of customer needs ("customer voice")
  • Familiarity with CRM/SAP systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of procurement processes
  • Experience with AI tools is an advantage
  • Language skills: strong English
  • Technical understanding is the basis and must be given
  • Willingness to travel should be given
