Your tasks
- Planning, controlling, and monitoring material flow as well as inventory management
- Processing orders, consignment, and import/export shipments including customs clearance
- Tracking delivery dates, coordinating with suppliers, and managing dunning processes
- Maintaining article and supplier master data, handling complaints and invoice processing
- Supplier management including selection, evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost optimization for suppliers from the APAC region with predominantly English communication in spoken and written form
- Supporting strategic purchasing planning and risk management in the supply chain
- Collaborating with internal interfaces, especially product development (Engineering)
- Organizing and coordinating transports (air freight, truck, sea freight, rail freight) and transport reporting
- Participating in cross-functional projects
- Managing and archiving relevant documents and tax assessments
Your profile
- Completed commercial training or specialist qualification (m/f/d) with more than 5 years of professional experience
- Solid knowledge of SAP as well as confident handling of MS Office applications
- Experience in operational and strategic purchasing, including demand planning, supplier management, contract management, and cost optimization
- Knowledge in transport management, especially organization and coordination of transports (air freight, truck, sea freight, rail freight) as well as customs clearance
- Strong methodological skills such as change management, negotiation and presentation skills, organizational talent, as well as time and self-management
- Very good German and English skills as well as strong communication skills, team spirit, and flexibility in dealing with change
