The advertised vacancy is for a post in LC6.

Your tasks

  • You will monitor the technical availability of logistics facilities and automated systems (e.g. conveyor systems, AGVs and AMRs) and ensure trouble-free operation
  • You will manage and prioritise orders in the warehouse management system and ensure an optimal flow of materials and goods throughout the entire process chain
  • You analyse machine and plant faults in real time, initiate appropriate measures to rectify faults and coordinate their implementation
  • You monitor logistics processes from goods receipt to goods dispatch, identify bottlenecks at an early stage and ensure their long-term resolution through appropriate measures
  • You are responsible for ensuring and continuously improving equipment performance (OEE) and for minimising downtime
  • You coordinate maintenance, repair and predictive maintenance measures, whilst managing external service and maintenance partners
  • You analyse relevant key performance indicators and use them to inform operational management decisions and measures for process optimisation
  • You act as the central point of contact between operational logistics, IT, engineering and management, and actively drive forward technical and systemic improvements
 

Your profile

  • Several years’ experience in working with automated logistics systems (at least 3 to 5 years), as well as in-depth knowledge of working with WMS systems, in particular SAP EWM, for the management and optimisation of complex logistics processes
  • Extensive experience in logistics and a deep understanding of material flow, automation and warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP EWM) for the reliable management of complex logistics processes
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities to identify disruptions, analyse root causes and devise sustainable solutions
  • A very good understanding of end-to-end logistics processes, as well as experience in the KPI-based management of performance, service levels and productivity
  • A high degree of personal responsibility, strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise, even in time-critical situations and under high operational pressure
  • Strong communication and management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate successfully across departments with Operations, IT and external partners
  • A strong willingness to embrace change, innovative thinking and flexibility, combined with a willingness to work in a three-shift operation and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
