Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for the organisation, management and optimisation of all logistics processes of a logistics centre and an external warehouse
- Management, motivation and further development of employees
- Sub-project manager for the logistics centre expansion project
- Ensuring that all orders are processed on time and in high quality
- Monitoring and optimisation of stock levels and inventory responsibility
- Control of logistics key figures and continuous process improvements
- Working closely with other departments such as materials planning, purchasing, sales and production
- Implementation of quality, safety and environmental standards
Your profile
- Degree in logistics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in a management position in logistics or supply chain management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Very good understanding of logistics processes and modern warehouse management systems
- Successful implementation of large logistics expansion projects
- High level of initiative, structured way of working and assertiveness
- Create commitment by honouring promises and deadlines
- Pro-active, convincing and engaging communication
- Good IT skills (SAP especially EWM/TM, MS Office etc.)
- Good English language skills
